Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, Deputy Dean for International Relations; Prof. Kulkanya Chokephaibulkit, Director of Siriraj Institute of Clinical Research (SICRES); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vitoon Chinswangwatanakul, Director of Siriraj Cancer Center; Assoc. Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee, the Manager of Siriraj Center of Research Excellence Management Unit (SiCORE-M); and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adada Methasate from Siriraj’s Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit; visit Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and meet Prof. Yujiro Tanaka, President of TMDU, Prof. Dr. Minoru Tanabe, and Prof. Keiichi Akita, to discuss on the Joint Degree Program between Siriraj and TMDU.

Prof. Vitoon Chinswangwatanakul, Director of Siriraj-TMDU Joint Degree Program (JDP), and the JDP Curriculum Management Committee: Assoc. Prof. Asada Metasate, Assoc. Prof. Nuttawut Sermsathanasawadi, Assoc. Prof. Chumpol Wongwongwanit, and Assoc. Prof. Chongdee Aojanepong, welcomed Professor Keiichi Akita and Mr. Shun Koyano from the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Japan, on the visit and discussion on the topic “the Expansion of the Joint Degree Program in Medical Sciences, and Diploma Form” between Siriraj and TMDU.

On July 5^th, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Visit Vamvanij, Director of Siriraj Hospital, along with Assoc. Prof. Chanean Ruansetakit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vitoon Chinswangwatanakul, and Lecturer Kusuma Chinaroonchai from the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Don Pramudwinai, and the honorable guest from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Abdullah Almutere Nilyfer, the Consultant for the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the visit and study on the topic “Advance Chronic Wound Care and the Use of Low-Temperature Atmospheric Pressure Plasma (LTAPP – plasma technology device) to treat the hard to heal and complicated wounds” at Siriraj Wound Clinic, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

Welcome, Miss Viktorie Mollova, a 4^th-year medical student from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic to undertake an elective study at the Department of Surgery starting from June 6^th – 30^th, 2022.

Welcome, Dr. Chia Luck Khng from Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore, to attend the “Short Training Program in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and Neck Dissection” at the Division of Head, Neck and Breast Surgery, Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital under the supervision Assoc. Prof. Suebwong Chuthapisith during April 1^st – September 30^th, 2022. Dr. Chia aims to learn how to perform competently and safely oncoplastic breast surgery and neck dissection.
