2019 UBC Vancouver Summer Program
Greetings from the University of British Columbia (UBC) Asia Pacific Regional Office!
As the registration deadline approaches, we would like to bring your attention to several updates.
June Session
Please note that Forestry Package A – Urban Forestry (FOR A JUNE) has been cancelled due to the faculty being unable to secure an instructor for the June session. The Faculty of Land and Food Systems has added Package B – Agribusiness Management (LFS B JUNE) for the June session. Could you please use the most updated materials when distributing to students.

The upcoming registration deadlines for each session are:
June 8 – July 8, 2019: February 28, 2019
July 13 – August 13, 2019: March 29, 2019
Students will likely get their first preference if they apply before the registration deadlines. If you or your students have any concerns with our deadline dates, please feel free to let me know and we may be able to extend the deadlines to accommodate your students.
Students are required to fill in and provide the details of a contact person of their University on the registration form (we are grateful if you can let your students know the details of your contact person) and submit their application to me. For individual applications, we would require students to use their university email address (e.g.example.student@cccu.edu.ca) to apply. English proficiency test scores are not required to register, but students should be proficient in English and have a strong academic background. They should also meet their university’s system of application and eligibility requirements (if any) for studying abroad and possess the personal maturity to undertake an international experience. Academic credits for the courses may be granted by the students’ home university at its discretion.
