On August 31st, 2023, the committee of Siriraj Medical Students Exchange Program 2023 (academic year 2023), including Assoc. Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations; Asst. Prof. Kanokwaroon Watananirun, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations; and Assoc. Prof. Vorapan Sirivatanauksorn, Chair of the Department of Biochemistry, convened for the final round of English interviews. They aimed to identify the most qualified 2nd-year Siriraj medical student for the 2024 research elective program.
As we conclude the last day of English interviews for the Student Exchange Program 2024, the committee faces an arduous task. Each candidate has demonstrated exceptional abilities, making the selection of the most qualified student a challenging endeavor. The announcement of the results is forthcoming.
On August 29th, 2023, Mr.Khemmawit Siriwong and Mr.Korapat Arukvichanan, the President and Vice-President of Siriraj Medical Student Union (SMSU), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, welcomed the representatives of the Student Executive Board (BEM KM) of the Faculty of Medicine at Airlangga University (UNAIR), Indonesia (consists of sixteen undergraduate medical students), on the student visiting program named “Study Tour and Comparative Lessons Regarding Campus Activities (SCLERA)”, to expand the institutional networking, improve student’s insight, knowledge, and a new environment of students in other universities globally. The discussion between the two parties focused on Research Activities, International Delegations, and International Academic competitions.

On August 16th, 2023, the committee of Siriraj Medical Students Exchange Program 2024 (academic year 2023) led by Asst. Prof. Kanokwaroon Watananirun, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations; Assoc. Prof. Rattapon Thuangtong, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs; and Assoc. Prof. Vorapan Sirivatanauksorn, Chair of the Department of Biochemistry, conducted the English Interview to seek for the most qualified fourth-year medical students for the clinical elective in 2024.
We have a total of fifty-two 4th-year Siriraj medical students applying for the elective program this year.

Congratulations to the representatives from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, for their outstanding achievements at the “19th Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz (IMSPQ)” hosted by the Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta City, Indonesia, from July 29th – 30th, 2023. The accolades earned by Siriraj participants are as follows:
“The 3rd Winner Team Prize” (competed among a total of 72 teams from medical schools around the world!) was clinched by the Siriraj team comprising our 3rd-year medical students as follows: 1) Mr. Kittikorn Wilasrusmee 2) Mr. Tanakrit Kamonsumlitpon 3) Ms. Atsuki Matsuzawa
The top 10 Individual Prizes for the “Best Written Test Scores” were secured by Siriraj as follows:
Mr. Tanakrit Kamonsumlitpon, who secured the “6th Best Written Test Score”, and Mr. Kittikorn Wilasrusmee, who earned the “8th Best Written Test Score”. Furthermore, the team from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, also claimed the “2nd Highest Team Score” in the Written Test Round among all 72 teams!
The “Best Performer in the Cultural Night Event Award” was claimed by the Siriraj team consisting of:
